Best Selling Author Tracey Garvis Graves to Speak January 17th | Events

Thanks to a grant from the Scott County Regional Authority, the Midwest Writing Center is looking forward to bringing New York Times best-selling author, Tracey Garvis Graves, to the Quad Cities.

On January 17, 2013 at The Outling Club, Graves will be giving a presentation about how she sold 365,000 copies of her self-published debut novel, On the Island. After her success, Graves now has an agent, foreign rights for her book have been sold in seventeen countries, MGM has optioned it for a feature film, and she has a two-book deal with Penguin. She has done this all from her home in a Des Moines suburb where she lives with her husband, two children, and dog, Chloe.
